“Lord Hanuman performs vratam on Ekadasi day. From the words of our elders, he dedicates himself fully in contemplation of Lord Sri Rama. So, on account of Bheeshma Ekadasi i.e. 9-02-2014, Vishnu Sahasra Nama Parayanam for the purpose of conciliating our Lord Hanuman in Sanjeevini Peetam at 6.00p.m.
So devotees do chant Bhagavan Nama Sankeerthana………Mathaji
Mathaji said
Bhishma Ekadasi was celebrated this day by chanting the Vishnu Sahasranamam that is 1008 names of lord Vishnu. This ekadasi holds a special place as it was thru Shri Bhishma that Vishnu sahasranamam was born to the world.
Lying in a bed of arrows Shri Bhisma sang the glory of the lord thru Vishnu Sahasranamam and also told king Yudhishtar the duties of a king. It has a message for each and every one of us.
Mathaji also mentioned about the prominance of Bhagawadgita. All sahasranamams describe the glory of the lord but the Bhagawadgita on the otherhand is a guide to the mankind by helping him to identify his duties and the correct path to be taken in the journey of our life.
Mathaji also said that During the earlier yugas like dwapara attaining Moksha was difficult as it was obtained only thru thapus and yagams ,but in Kaliyuga it can be easily obtained by doing NAMASMARANAMS.
Mathaji has also answered lot of querries asked by the devotees.
