హనుమత్ స్వామి మరియు సువర్చలా మాత కళ్యాణం జరిగిన రోజు జ్యేష్ఠ శుద్ధ దశమి అని పరాశర మహర్షి విరచితమైన శ్రీ ఆంజనేయ చరిత్ర అను గ్రంధము నందు కలదు. అది 4 -6 -2017 ఆదివారం వస్తున్నది. కావున వారివారి శక్తి కొలది సేవించి, పూజించి స్వామివారి అనుగ్రహమును పొందండి.
As I entered Sanjeevinipeetam along with my Husband, my eyes caught sight of Lord Hanuman and His Pathni Suvarchala Devi, seated majestically in all grandeur,on a royally decorated Oonjal. Today, being Their Wedding Anniversary Day, we really felt blessed to witness this amazing sight!
Mathaji conducted the Dolo urchavam wherein all the devotees were made to gently swing the Oonjal with the help of a long orange rope and simultaneously chanting the Govindanama Sankeerthana. It was followed by ‘Anjaneya Veera’ . After the aarthi was shown,Mathaji shared her experiences, views and ideas with the devotees.
Frankly speaking, my thoughts were elsewhere..I couldn’t help glancing at Bakthavatchala Anjaneyar and ask myself, “I’m visiting You after such a long time,,then how come I have not missed You at all? Have I become too busy to even think of You??” I wondered and felt very guilty about it. It was then Mathaji’s words caught my attention. She said.that although Lord Hanuman the ‘Living God’ resides at the Himalayas, She need not go to Himalayas to worship Him. Her whole-hearted faith and selfless devotion and surrender to the Lord will bring Hanuman himself to the Peetam!..
On hearing this, all my guilty feelings were washed away! True!! Now I know why I did not miss Hanuman or Sanjeevinipeetam since He resides in my heart!!
During each and every Pooja I’ve attended all these years, Mathaji always brings out the significance of conducting such poojas, the value of chanting Hanuman Chalisa and other Mantras, the purpose of conducting Homams and Bagavadh Gita preachings. In all these years, I have learnt a lot, stumbled many times realising it would only better me and now I’ve totally surrendered to the Lord! If I’m able to so confident today, tackle obstacles with better clarity and patience, the choice of using words, and experience many miracles.. it is only because of Mathaji’s counselling, preachings and her real life experiences. Although I’ve not read the Gita yet, I still try to follow its preachings. I’m still far from perfection and have a long way to go but I’m far off better than what I was and this has helped me to cross the thorny paths in my life.The duty of each and every devotee is not to just give their attendance at Sanjeevinipeetam but to follow Mathaji’s preachings, so that, they too would enjoy its benefits oneday.
During every Pooja, we learn something new..like Mathaji explained the significance of the Oonjal. She said that our mind is the Oonjal. Even the slightest breeze will swing it.In the same way, our mind wavers and gets disturbed for the slightest reasons.Inspite of that, like how the Lord is seated undisturbed on the swaying Oonjal, one must also be strong in the spiritual attachment to the Lord.
Mathaji gave another beautiful example. There are so many living creatures around a lotus in a pond. But it is only the honeybee which gets to suck the honey. In the same way, only those who have praaptham will get Hanuman’s blessings at Sanjeevinipeetam.
Once again,Mathaji stressed on Good Karma. Only service to the Lord can help in depositing good karma into our account which can be carried with us even after life – unlike bank balance or property. She also voiced Her Sankalpam of conducting Anjaneyar Kalyanam in a grand manner in the near future.
The Mahima of Hanuman Chalisa and practise of Bhagavadh Gita was also brought out today.
It was followed by distributing the Dampatha Thaamboolam to the devotees.

Suvarchala Anjaneya Kalyanam – Jyeshta Suddha Dasami * Reference : Parasara Samhita – Sri Anjaneya Charithra
Although it is unbelievable, it is a fact. The details of this celestial event are found in the manuscript written by Parasara Maharishi in his book Parasra Samhita. Sri Parasara Maharishi had written the life history of Lord Hanuman from his birth and goes on to depict his life even after the Ramayana.
According to Parasara Maharishi, Hanuman had worshipped Surya Bhagwan (the Sun god) as his Guru and studied the Vedas and mastered the Nine Vyakarnas. Being an Aajanma Brahmachari, Lord Hanuman was not eligible to study the Nava Vyakarnas(nine grammers) for which the status of being a Gruhasthu was essential. In order to facilitate the completion of his education, the Trimurthis approached Surya Bhagwan and created a beautiful Kanya, Suvarchala Devi, an Aajanma Brahmacharini, from the Sun’s Kiranas(rays) and arranged a marriage with Hanumanji to make him a Gruhasthu without Brahmacharya being affected. Whereby he learnt and became a genius in the Nine Vyakarnas. These details can be found in Parasara Samhita. – Mathaji
