PANGUNI UTHIRAM 3-4-2015
Palguna Uttharam is an important day for Hindus. It is observed in Palguna month when Nakshatra Utthara. It is believed that Goddess Parvati in the form of Gowri married Lord Shiva in Ekambareeswar Temple, Kanchipuram and because of this belief this day is also celebrated as Mangala Gowri Pooja. It falls on 3-4-2015.
On the occasion of the particular day if the youth perform the pooja to the Goddess Gowri Devi, they will be blessed with a good life partner. Pooja in simple way can be done by offering Red flowers, Yellow fruits and Prasad Rava Kesari. Once their wish is fulfilled the next succeeding year the newlywed couple should have darshan of Matha Gowri in the Ekambareswar temple on the palguna masam and on utthara nakshatram where Matha Gowri gives her presence under the MANGO TREE, do the pradakshinams around it. Then an half an hour stay in the premises of the temple, The newlywed couple will be blessed with happy and prosperous long life.
If we also perform Gowri pooja on this auspicious day in a dedicated way we also will be blessed with happy and healthy long life…..
With constant thinking about Hanuman
