73 RD HANUMAN CHALISA PRATHISHTA BY HANUMAN MATHAJI at Sri Veera Anjaneya Temple,Kondapalayam, Sholingar on Sunday 28 th May 2017.
Our Van left Sanjeevini Peetam at 5.30AM on Sunday and reached Sholingar by 9.00 AM. First we wentto Sri Veera Anjaneyar Temple at foothill. The Pujaris performed puja and Aarti to Sri Rama Anjaneyar and Hanuman Chalisa Tablet DONATED BY Sanjeevini Peetam for installatiion. Mathaji and Sanjeevini Peetam devotees chanted Hanuman Chalisa and Anjaneya Veera bhajan. In this temple, Rama Anjaneya moorthy was installed by Pejavar Mutt Swamji, from Udupi, South Karnataka. This temple is now maintained by Madhva community for generations settled in Sholingar.
Swayambhu Sri Veera Anjaneyar is located just opposite Sri Rama Anjaneyar moorthy in the same temple. This udbhava Veera Anjaneyar engraved on a stone is installed in this place long time ago – resembles more or less like our UDHBAVA MURTHY DUSI ANJANEYAR SWAMY.
There were 406 steps to reach Anjaneyar temple on hilltop. All of us –turn by turn – performed PADI POOJAI by applying Manjal (Turmeric) and KumKum on each Step. While climbing the steps there were lot of monkeys playing around. Mathaji was feeding bananas & water to them very affectionately as can be seen from the photos. We climbed the steps chanting SHRI RAM JAI RAM- JAI JAI RAM. We never felt tired while climbing the steps. Mathaji and devotees had a heartful of Dharshan and blessings of Anjaneya Swami .
The entire trip was very lively and we were all blessed to get this kind opportunity . This kind of trips cultivate Team Spirit among devotees .
